New Hampshire Health Plan (NHHP)
Effective in July 2007, Helms & Company assumed the role of executive management of NHHP matters. New Hampshire Health Plan (NHHP) makes individual health insurance available to New Hampshire residents who are medically uninsurable. NHHP also supports and enhances the private market through related initiatives. As a non-profit, NHHP strives to make its services accessible and affordable within the spirit and parameters of enabling legislation. NHHP is committed to high standards in products, service, ethics, governance, fiscal responsibility, efficiency, and effectiveness. Helms & Co also manages the assessment collection process for both the New Hampshire Health Plan and the New Hampshire Small Employer Health Reinsurance Pool.
New Hampshire Lithotripter Center, Inc. (NHLC)
Comprised of twenty-two (22) hospitals in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, NHLC operates a transportable lithotripter unit under contract with a national high-technology company whose technical staff accompanies the unit to each site and works with hospital staff to perform the lithotripsy procedure. In 2007 NHLC performed over 1,090 lithotripsy procedures.
New Hampshire Imaging Services (NHIS)
NHIS is a consortium of eleven (11) members, including ten (10) New Hampshire
hospitals and one multi-specialty group practice.
Through a contract with a national high-technology vendor, NHIS provides mobile MRI and PET
services to its members. In 2007, over 28,000 MRI scans and over 1,800 PET scans were performed. By
virtue of this collaborative effort, expensive high technology equipment is made
conveniently available to patients at a highly competitive rate.
Integrated Eye Care, Inc. (IEC)
Integrated Eye Care, Inc. is a statewide, full-service ophthalmology-directed routine
vision care provider network. IEC offers high quality, cost-effective,
conveniently located routine vision care services including eyewear discounts to
employees and subscribers throughout New Hampshire. The network includes
ophthalmologists, affiliated optometrists, and opticians to ensure full network
coverage to meet the clinical and geographic needs of payers, employers, and employees
for routine vision care.
NH Community Behavioral Health Association (NHCBHA)
The NH Community Behavioral Health Association consists of the ten (10) nonprofit regional
Community Mental Health Centers that provide mental health services to a growing
number of New Hampshire residents - many of whom are uninsured or underinsured and
cannot afford these services. These Centers make essential services, including 24
hour emergency services, available to the Medicaid population, as well as individuals
who are unable to pay for these services.
Rural Home Care Network, L.L.C. (RHCN)
The Rural Home Care Network is a L.L.C. comprised of thirteen (13) home health agencies/
VNA's located in communities in the central and northern areas of New Hampshire.
Through the direct provision of service by its members, subcontract, and/or referral,
a comprehensive array of home healthcare and hospice services functioning as a
"gateway" to necessary home care services for anyone requesting assistance and/or
referral to appropriate specialty services.
VNA Health System of Northern New England, Inc. (VNAHSNNE)
VNA Health System of Northern New England, Inc. (VNAHSNNE) is an alliance of six (6)
community based not-for-profit home health agencies. VNAHSNNE was incorporated in
New Hampshire in 1997 to create a network of home health and hospice providers to
promote the charitable non-profit mission of New Hampshire VNA's in providing quality
home health, hospice and other community services. Through collaborative efforts,
VNAHSNNE has developed enhanced infusion therapy nursing services, pediatric home
care services, palliative care support programs, and works to understand and find
ways to improve the home care delivery process.
